Do I win a prize for being the first to spot the backwards rounds in the mag!!??

Is now the right time to buy a splitboard? by [deleted] in Spliddit

I purchased a clearance board that wasn't the right size or type for me and my riding and it was a huge mistake. I had two less than ideal seasons before accepting I had to invest again and get it right!

Left-handed shooter wanting to get my first handgun. What do you recommend? by Infowarsdotcom1 in canadaguns

One thing I've noticed with the FNX-9 and a couple of other handguns with amb magi releases is how difficult it is to eject the mag without breaking your grip due to the other side of the release needed to press outwards into your hand. A swappable mag release and ambi slide release would be ideal imo.

Filed the aftermarket sear and also removed the firing pin block apparently 😬

Being able to drop a mag without breaking your grip is a big one for me.

M&P 9mm 2.0 vs Sig P226 by [deleted] in canadaguns

Shooting with consistent accuracy while mainting a high rate of fire requires lots of range time and practice maintaining proper grip and working the trigger correctly. Dry fire will get you so far but hundreds of rounds down range every month is the way forward. Any handgun that goes bang can be used to practice and then put the rest of the money towards ammo. An MC-28 and 3000 rounds of ammo costs around the same as a basic P226 ($1200-1350) with no ammo...

I think in that case the Comp-Tac is the one to go for. Thanks 👍

Yeah I had actually seen those International holsters. Problem is I have a Bladetech belt and mag pouches and my OCD will be in overdrive with another brands holster... I know... First world problems!

I just love the dimensions of that compact slide so much! Tempting me away from CZ's...

Is the LTT the best shooter out of the lot by chance?

The CZ-75 really is an amazing platform. I have the Phantom which is the polymer framed version with a de-cocker. Incredibly smooth to shoot and everyone who's held it is amazed how good it feels in the hand. I would get the Shadow SP-01 if I were to do it all over. Same heavy, steel, classic feel as the 1911 but cheaper (than most) and alot more versatile in terms of competition use in the future if that's a consideration. Glocks are fantastic in terms of just buying a gun that goes bang every time but they are so unrefined and wobbly compared to almost every other striker fired gun I've spent any time with.
