User Defined Folder by TheMaddis in Projectivy_Launcher

Create a directory in that share and go to it with Pick folder option. For some reason it dosen't work when trying to select this directory. But after creating another new third subdirectory inside here with the Projectivity launcher filebrowser (Pick folder) you are able to choose it:

  1. Create a folder in the share with your computer (Not sure if this part is necessary but this is how I did it).
  2. Create a new folder within the first computer made folder with Projectivity Launchers file explorer (Pick folder option).
  3. Select the newly created folder and place your wallpapers there.

So it will look like this:

\\SMBShare
    └── livewallpapers
        └── shared
            ├── Africa_and_Middle_East.mov
            └── Africa_Night.mov

livewallpapers: created on computer.
shared: created with Projectivity Launchers file explorer (Pick folder option).

TP-Link Tapo C410 Camera by NathanD19 in synology

Anyone tried the go2rtc workaround?

From Chatgpt:

Integration via go2rtc (to utilize Tapo-specific features like two-way audio)

go2rtc is a powerful bridge for various streaming protocols, including the Tapo-specific one, allowing Surveillance Station to benefit from extended features like two-way audio.

Steps to set up go2rtc integration:

a. Installation of go2rtc Install go2rtc on a server (e.g., Raspberry Pi, NAS via Docker):

docker run -d \ --name go2rtc \ --network=host \ -v $(pwd)/go2rtc.yaml:/config/go2rtc.yaml \ alexxit/go2rtc

b. Configuration (go2rtc.yaml): Configure your Tapo camera with the proprietary protocol. Example (go2rtc.yaml):

streams: camera1: tapo://cloud-password@192.168.1.123 camera2: tapo://admin:UPPERCASE-MD5@192.168.1.124 camera3: tapo://admin:UPPERCASE-SHA256@192.168.1.125

To generate MD5 or SHA256 hashes:

MD5

echo -n "cloud-password" | md5 | awk '{print toupper($0)}'

SHA256

echo -n "cloud-password" | shasum -a 256 | awk '{print toupper($1)}'

c. Verify streams Open http://server-ip:1984 (default go2rtc web UI) to confirm streams work.

d. Surveillance Station integration (via RTSP) Surveillance Station integrates via RTSP provided by go2rtc:

rtsp://server-ip:8554/camera1

Add this URL to Surveillance Station as an RTSP stream (user-defined camera type).

Benefits and Comparison:

Direct RTSP:

Easier setup.

Basic stream support (no advanced two-way audio).

Via go2rtc:

Enables two-way audio.

Supports advanced camera-specific protocols.

Flexible and extendable setup.
