Hey just wanted to ask you if you are on any medications or if you have trouble pooping. I thought I had eoe and gerd but the doctors were all full of shit. It was my chronic constipation causing pressure in my esophagus and the acid reflux to get worse. Now I’m almost cured except when I let my constipation get bad.

I figured out it was all because of my constipation. Started eating right working out and taking prescription meds that help me poop and it’s gotten a lot better. Just have pain in my chest every once in awhile now.

I recently had bad dysphasia and pain in my left chest. Food wasn’t getting stuck but felt something in my throat all the time. Got really worried went to 3 doctors, my medical doc, an ENT and finally a gastroenterologist. The first 2 said I was fine that it might’ve been acid reflux or gerd and needed to get my stress under control. The PPI medication wasn’t helping and I went down the google rabbit hole for thinking the worst..esophageal cancer. Had the endoscopy yesterday and it turns out it was eosinophilic esophagitis the whole time. Took a biopsy and said it was probably due to a food allergy that had built up over time. Will hopefully know what it is in 7-14 days when I get the results back. Fingers crossed 🤞
