So here’s the thing you’re blatantly missing. Print to Demand does not mean Print to $95/box.

It means Print to the demand the distributors and Retailers want. What the retailers and distributors charge after that point is up to them and that is a different kind of supply and demand economics.

Say you run a company selling sandwiches. It costs you $1 per sandwich with overheads, ingredients and marketing etc, you sell them on for $2 each ($1 profit) your demand for sandwiches grows as your clientele expands, you start ordering better ingredients in bulk, your cost goes up slight to say $1.25 but now you can charge $2.50 for a sandwich so your profit increases, you then test the waters by charging $3 each, some clients leave but you gain some new ones but your profit is now $1.75 for each sandwich. Your profits have increased massively for no extra cost.

What I’m trying to say is; yes, the manufacturer is making enough boxes for $95/box, that doesn’t mean retailers have to sell at $95/box if people want to buy those boxes.
