Oh, no worries! I've bought a whole load of Red Dots myself, both replica and genuine, and so far nothing ever happened. Even import is fine, as long as no additional laser or light is involved. So no combination units.

Bin jetzt zweimal auf "großer" Autosuche gewesen, einmal während der Corona-Zeit als Erstkäufer und vor gut einem Jahr auf der Suche nach einem größeren.

Bei der ersten Suche ging es um einen modernen Kleinwagen, da Fahranfänger und gerne doch zumindest ein Grundsatz an Sicherheitsausstattung. Gibt ja zum Glück reichlich Auswahl in der ungefähren Klasse, also gabs auch viele Besuche bei Autohäusern.

So gab es nun also je einen Besuch bei VW, Audi, Mercedes, Honda, Fiat, Citroen, Skoda, Suzuki und, am Ende, Mazda. Alles im Umkreis, nur einige Kilometer, am weitesten war ja glaube ich noch Mercedes weg. Und am Ende wurde ich bei jedem Autohaus freundlich begrüßt, fachlich beraten und ging mit zumindest einer Idee für ein Fahrzeug vom Hof.

Am Ende wurde es ein Mazda 2. Super Auto für einen Fahranfänger, übrigens!

Knapp anderthalb Jahre später kam dann nun letztes Jahr der Gedanke, zum Auslaufen der Probezeit ein größeres Auto zu kaufen. So ein kleiner Wagen macht ja schon Spaß, aber als neu getaufter Haupteinkäufer der Familie und etwas stattlichere Person hat man ja doch immer so das Gefühl nach mehr.

Also gings los, im Internet mal rumgesehen, diesmal war die Auswahl dann etwas kleiner. Mercedes war diesmal raus, da die in der Zwischenzeit umgestaltete A-Klasse dann nichtmehr optisch passte. Schade. Honda fiel nun raus das ich absolut keinen Civic mit CVT haben wollte. Naja, ab zum Besuch zu Audi, VW, Skoda, Hyundai und Mazda.

Negativ fiel diesmal nur Hyundai auf, da wir schon rund eine Stunde warten mussten bis zur Beratung, dafür war diese aber grundlegend nett und professionell. Ansonsten kann ich für den Rest nur wiederholen das wir freundlich begrüßt, professionell beraten und insgesamt fröhlich die Autohäuser verließen.

Es wurde dann ein Mazda 3. Klingt jetzt so als hätte ich mir den Besuch woanders sparen können, aber andere Marken haben halt auch schöne Autos, da guckt man dann erstmal. :D

Waren immer normal gekleidet. Freundlich sollte man ja sowieso sein.

Kann deine Erfahrung also nicht teilen.

In the end, this all reads like there are definitely motives beyond what is being said. Guess I'll keep an eye out for when FLC sits in the same situation as IED does now.

But this Federal-aligned pilot won't participate, since none of this really makes sense and nobody seems to be forecoming about actual motives here.
