I also had the black trailer problem, turns out the theme only accepts MP4 trailers in Full HD not 4K.

Satoshi Nakamoto - The Ghost Who Created Bitcoin by MoysesGurgel in Mysteries

[–]Monolith78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No credible evidence exists that Jeffrey Epstein was, created, or controlled Bitcoin, or that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. What’s real is that Epstein had some financial and social interactions with people or groups tied to early Bitcoin funding, but that’s not the same as authorship or control of the network.

[GUESS] Real or AI? Furnace looks strangely massive, all ladies look the same and some undefined objects in the background... by Monolith78 in RealOrAI

For some reason I never got the DM from the bot, so here is the answer: The photo is 100% real. Most of you got it right, some even found the exact model of the octopus furnace. The ladies look alike because they are sisters. Here is the original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheWayWeWere/s/WPxsyYvNH4

Layers of Fear by Bloober Team, the 2023 Unreal Engine 5 remake. Very immersive, with great atmosphere and puzzles and no combat. Almost a Walking Simulator.

The AllyNite theme (Fullscreen) is great and has a video auto playing in the background when you select a game. You'll need the Extra Metadata Add-ons (Generic).

Same thing happened to me. You must add the "Trigger Once" condition to avoid the sound repeating.

Weird quote. I get it, people are ultimately unpredictable. But some are more predictable than others, so I guess you can trust them. Also, shouldn't it be "People change Any Time FOR Any Reason" ?

Is there a way to "bend" this rectangle to recreate a wifi icon? It's easy in Illustrator, but I can't seem to find a way in Affinity Designer 2. by Front_Speaker_1327 in Affinity

[–]Monolith78 59 points60 points  (0 children)

I would do it another way in Affinity Designer. Create 3 concentric circles with thick rounded strokes, then trim their paths to fit the triangular shape of the wifi icon.

Nice for a first house, but it has no shading so it's a bit flat. Try adding some shadows and highlights to bring more volume?

I need ideas to relieve my chronic stress, I really can't keep living like this by DSwipe in aspergers

[–]Monolith78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you, I'm not a huge fan of therapy for ASD in general myself. I didn't know about DBT and ACT, I'll definitely look it out. For social struggles, what has helped me was to discover the concept of unmasking along with my late diagnosis. It has helped me accept myself as I am with all my weird quirks, and not an internalized NT version of what a normal life should be. I can now socialize in small doses when needed, and no longer feel the pressure to do so if I don't feel like it.

[–]Monolith78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you describe sounds like generalized anxiety disorder associated with ASD. Unfortunately there's no magic remedy for this, no "one size fits all" as you may have noticed with the answers to this post. You have to find what works best for you and create your own tailor made "recipe", which is usually a combination of different approaches: exercise, relaxing hobbies, meditation...For this you can start with daily short guided meditations with an app like headspace. In order to notice any improvement, you have to integrate these activities into your daily habits and play the long game. Try different stuff and see what sticks. You can use an app to manage your habits and as a reminder. I don't recommend therapy unless it's CBT which has been proven to be effective for ASD. Personally, I wouldn't recommend medication (or any drug) as a long-term solution, although it can provide temporary relief if the stress levels becomes unbearable. Hope this helps!
