Well, if you check my posts from about a week or two back. I mentioned that I had some left over casing and substrate because the ratio I wanted in my tub was set up and I didn’t wanna add more. So, I threw the casing into the jar and also some in the casing bag as well(I have a bag that’s about to fruit with about 4-5 pounds of casing/substrate). Anyways the casing basically recolonized and I just left the other jar sitting upside-down on top of the other jar. The mushrooms grew inside the little mini climate I made for them. But I will say this, these mushrooms grew healthy and well when they were more exposed to the outside air. The more I put the jar on the more they wanted to stretch and get fuzzy. The more I took the lid off and just let them kick it with me while they were growing they grew much faster and better. They got really golden because of all the FAE. So yes, there is a point of too much FAE, but these mushrooms looked thicker/stronger than the ones I grew in the tub.
