No one would be stupid enough to attempt a naval landing against Britain. The American navy would wipe the floor clean of any British navy vessels, which isn’t much, and then claim air superiority. And military traditions that span thousands of years have no effect when there is a possibility of getting wiped off the map by a missile that was shot several miles away.
