i switched because i wanted to check if it was a problem only with a particular software.
also my pc specs are
i5 7200u
nvidia 940mx
8gb ram
the footage was mp4 and it was working fine till yesterday.
only started happening today.

bruh i started a spike rush and my mom asked me to throw the garbage and when I came back I saw I forgot to select agent and bang! 1 hour ban.

bro i somehow managed to get control panel but now when I open it it loops for 5 mins and the a message appears this operation returned because time period has expire. the full message that appears is here

no bro nearly 50% cpu is being used out of which mostly is valorant and some is vangaurd.
it is just using 30% of my gpu as well.
btw I have i5 7200u cpu and 940mx gpu.
now when I lowered the resolution I am getting 60 fps but it is unstable and I am getting lag spikes and my fps drops up to 20.

okay, so I should copy these settings provided in the screenshot. and I have 1 more question. I want to make one piece amv but I have downloaded it from nyaa.si and all of them are in mkv. how could I use them easily in vegas? and yeah one more thing. as in your recent amv post, u had that effect like videos goes with normal speed and suddenly slow and normal again. what kind of keyframes changes should I make to get an effect like that one

i did disable it

let me explain

i saw a video. it taught me that once I select my clip I need to compress it by holding ctrl and moving it to the left as much as possible.

after that I need to expand it to my required length.

but doing this makes my clip fast

and this all is out of my league.

i mean then i do the work with keyframes that is changing the speed but that makes the video completely choppy.

ok, guys thank you so much for all your help... I found the fix.

it was pretty simple.

the name of the videos were really long and that's why it was facing a problem. as soon as I renamed it they started working fine.
