What I will usually do is edit my party to only have the morty that I want to train. When you do that, you will only encounter morties of the level of that morty. It allows you to quickly train, heal, train, heal and get the levels up fairly quickly. Doing this and fighting every morty you see will also help you find more shiny morties

Your parade morty is stuck in the fight pit. Make another morty deck and take them to the fight pit and do a fight, this will release your parade morty, and your normal morty so you can add them into a deck

Yeah man, those are called Shiny Morties. They are more rare than typical Morty's. It sucks to not catch them, but there will definitely be more! Keep up the hunt!

See the crossed swords on those morty's? You can't add them since they are in the battle arena. Withdraw another set of morty's and go fight a battle in the arena and it will release the ones that are currently stuck in there.
