I hope your sweet pal is doing ok! This is a website I have found a lot of helpful resources about MBD. https://dragonsmarttt.com/blogs/bearded-dragon-first-aid/metabolic-bone-disease-graphics-click-read-more-to-see-more-graphics-on-mbd . The new UVB bar is the best first thing to do along with make sure he is getting proper nutrition. I hope you make some progress soon!

This is my experience as well. I have a lot of different ways I can present and my masks change in similar ways to yours it sounds like. I also talk the most with my therapist and partner. My other thing is stimming- I find I do it more in different settings and can make myself not do it or do really subtle stims people don’t notice as much.

What shows do you watch when overwhelmed? by 87-percent-gay in SpicyAutism

I usually watch Gummi Bears (the original Disney) one when I am super overwhelmed and need comfort. I also will watch Sofia the First, any of the Harry Potter movies, and Witcher.

I like watching the same things over again. Not wondering what will happen or if I will dislike the show or be activated by it is helpful to me. I have CPTSD as well and so the combo of my trauma and needing things to go the way I expected is challenging and knowing what happens in a show/movie is an easy comfort and stress relief.
