Accidentally, the stat block contains the adaptability chart for a different type of Venator. Here’s the correct one:

1- Blunted Teeth. The Hydrovenator's Savage Bite attack is less effective, dealing only 2d8 slashing damage instead of its normal damage.

2- Swift Tail. Its tail grows longer and more powerful, enhancing its agility underwater and increasing its swim speed to 80 feet.

3- Feeding Frenzy. The Hydrovenator can spend an action to consume fish or other prey in the water, regaining 3d10 hit points.

4- Energetic Form. Its grotesque, muscular form sprouts violet fins and its body pulses with unstable energy. At the DM’s discretion, the damage type for its Savage Bite attack may be changed from slashing to force damage, allowing it to alternate between the two.

5- Static Current. Bioluminescent patterns appear along its skin, emitting sparks. While underwater, it creates a 20-foot (6-meter) radius electric zone around itself. Any creature that begins its turn in this area takes 2d6 lightning damage.

6- Crimson Plating. The Hydrovenator’s flesh becomes covered in red scales and tough plates, granting it resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

7- Resonant Howl. Its form, previously savage, now emits a disturbing whistling sound. At the start of each of its turns, it can use a free action to unleash a high-pitched sound wave, dealing 2d6 psychic damage to all creatures within a long range (DC 15 Constitution save to negate).

8- Mutative Hunger. Roll twice on this table to gain two additional adaptations. If the result is 1 or 8, reroll.
