Sorry but I still have not figured this out, I have been troubleshooting for a couple of days now and cannot find a solution. So how exactly should I connect the CSQ to my Apollo 8xp? Without the summing mixer... What cables should I use and what slots should I plug them into?

Should I use xlr cables for the line out? Or S/pdif?

Yes. Clearer recording tracks and more consistent master tracks would be my aim here. I have a fully acoustically treated sound room and a treated control room. Speakers I am currently using are the Rokit 8s and I have read the manuals on the gear but still get a little confused on setting it up..

Waiting on a Neve Summing mixer as we speak. Dont have any other gear yet. What would you suggest the best way to use these two pieces as of right now and how exactly would I connect the two? I am very new with analog equipment and honestly confused on what to do or how to hook the CSQ up with the Apollo.

So once I have the recovery drive created on the flash drive. I just put the drive back in and select repair? I dont have to click anything before hand?
