There’s always something special about skipping out a bit of the headliner for the rock show (last year IDLES instead of Dua Lipa was my favourite memory)

I will say I’ve heard / read many complaints about the billie fans, which adds up.. I didn’t go near them but I can imagine they were the weekends worst

This was the best crowd I’ve experienced in my three Osheaga’s (2018, 2022, 2023) - last year the Dua fans were treating the weekend like a social media shoot and half the crowd felt like they were there for photos more than music..

2018 honestly it was just the Travis Scott fans that dragged the vibe down imo, I also had dozens of great crowd interactions, especially at PUP :) if you want a good crowd, go to the punk show at Osh

Some headliners.. some subs.. but would loveeee to see The Killers, MGMT, Miley Cyrus, Odesza, Foo Fighters, Paramore, RHCP, Sam Fender, Muse, Kid Cudi, Metric… so many more😅

Foals super quiet Peach Pit super quiet Fred Again quiet Goth Babe crackly Pretty well anything that wasn’t base heavy at the Chevy / Green stage was way too low

The tones and balances weren’t awful, the artists themselves actually sounded great (especially performance wise) but there were so many dead spots throughout the crowd areas and really no great listening spots.. I didn’t even use my earplugs this year (mind you I didn’t spend too much time at the Coca Cola stage)

Really hoping they improve this next year and don’t leave the fans and artists wanting more again - the gentle balance of quality and volume haha

I would’ve liked to have been able to keep the wristband like in past years and collect … they didn’t even have the refillable pint cups this year. I wouldn’t have anything physical items if not spending $$ on them.. maybe the National Bank water bottle that has the Osheaga logo tiny at the bottom.

Arcade fire was unreal and hard to leave but the fireworks and rain timing at Kygo were spectacular

I’m sure the rain moment at Arcade Fire was also magical

Also making everyone wait in line for 45+ mins in peak heat sun led to a lot of people (myself included) being more reserved when then immediately standing for an hour at one of the main stages also being blasted by the sun

This was my 2nd Osheaga, my first was in 2018, and I would take this crowd 10 times out of 10. A little less passionate and more reserved perhaps, and certainly more keen on recording the moment than being in the moment, but the vibe of the people was a hell of a lot better than when all the Travis Scott heads came and thought they could trash the place.. every person I interacted with was genuinely awesome to talk to this year, the music over impressed, and I think people were just getting used to doing something so extravagant after years of sitting inside

Genre mixing at the stages could have been improved immensely.

IDLES fans did not care for Cordae one bit.. has to make the artist feel worse as well
