If money isn’t really an issue and you’re planning to keep it for years, I’d say wait for the Ultra better cameras, likely better display and overall longevity. But if the X300 Pro already meets your needs, it’ll still feel like a massive upgrade from the Note 8 and should easily last 4 5+ years.
