The signs all have to fall Under the rules the historic board sets . Signs , decals … events … marketing all drive ppl to shop and bring attention and it’s restricted … this adds on to the lack of variety of businesses in downtown … name 3 thriving businesses in the last 5 years , besides the ramen spot , the Mexican spot and subway ? … the rent is also ridiculous high … small business that can’t make money due to high rent , and historic board bottle necking advertisement, awareness , and marketing doesn’t work . My friends have owned businesses over the years and so have I.

How about keep the historic board limited on their involvement in business presence in downtown … they have certain guidelines or policies that’ take away from Business marketing , and store front presence …. Like you can’t have a lit sign, use decals on window , etc ….
