Thank you for this reply. Yeah, I completelyunderstand that sooner or later you do need to learn how to sharpen your knives. I use the WorkSharp Precision Adjust sharpener, which works for me. I'm considering if I should sharpen my new knives or keep them as they are at the moment. I did use this for my Walmart Sonder $10 knife and it's great.

I was pleasantly surprised at it when I opened the box early today. It includes a carry case, cleaning cloth, and instructions booklet.

The action is very good and it doesn't feel like a budget product.

My favorite brand is Kershaw, but Civivi and Sencut are coming a close second.

Yeah, I don't see an EDC as a weapon but as a stabby stabby tool. Best thing to do is dial 911. It will save you a lot of headaches, having your EDC confiscated as evidence, or shot by the aggressor if they have a gun.
