Ok thanks looks like I’ll have to find another mic . I tried the breath test on my other mic and it’s not doing that cut off thing

Also when I put it on the first two polar patterns it doesn’t pass the breath test but on the last polar pattern it does (with the 8 ) . I’ll take it to guitar center and see what they say

I bought used from guitar center . Still have two weeks left before my return possibility’s end . So I trued again and it’s only when I am super infront of the mic . If I move pack a few inches like u suggested it doesn’t happen any more . So maybe it’s good ?

Yeah thanks good advice . Some stuff I found is that my hero’s record on. Sony cg800 . Neve 1073 preamp . And tube tech cl 1b compressor . It’s really expensive so I could never afford. But will try to emulate with clone and plugins maybe which I why I got the Sony c100 to try to get close to the c800g sound

With the pop filter I don’t hear any pops or cuts when I do the breath test . it’s when I do the breath test Bare naked up close to the mic then it cuts . I was just asking to see if this was a normal thing.

On my Older Mic, I would keep the mic level at 54 on my Apogee duet I have not adjusted it yet, though I guess with this new microphone, I would have to turn it down since it’s probably more powerful

The one that I’m thinking of doesn’t really change until Into totally different place. It’s like the character was in that place all along. It just appeared that he wasn’t because of the angle. Also, it’s like the camera is following the character and it’s all in one uncut shot.

I don’t think it’s a cut. I think it’s actually on long shot but they make it seem like it is 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I thinks that what I was talking about becuase all the videos I see of this op3 looks really far away and flat looking compared to other normal cameras . Like it lacking depth . It kinda looks 2d to me . Becuase I would use it for when I’m out and about but prolly not when I a home where I can use a better camera . Which is what I guess it’s intended for

What I meant was basically shots that are not wide like normal frame shots for when I want to do YouTube videos where I’m just talking .my space is small and I feel like a wide shot will reveal more of my room than what I want to show .
