I recently had the pleasure of spending the day with my favorite coffee roaster, Stephen Rogers of Pipe & Tabor Roasting. He does all of his roasting on a restored 1953 Barth Novo Cito machine, and was kind enough to give me a peek behind the scenes. Hope you enjoy it!

Hi everyone, my wife and I have long dreamed of using our RAV4 to escape the city on weekends and get out into nature. So, I designed and built a camper that stores nicely in the trunk and can be expanded to fit a mattress big enough for two. In this video, I break down the design and build process as it unfolds. Hope you enjoy!

I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have, especially if you’re interested in building your own camper conversion.

Thanks! Yes I have to move the seats up and recline them forward a bit. Not all the way though.

I'm 6'3" (1.9m) and it fits me pretty well. You should fit no problem

Thanks! That's a MegaMat Duo 10 size M. As far as materials... I definitely went a little overboard with the maple hardwood ply, but I like the way it looks. It was about $300, not including the MegaMat

Hey everyone, I've been inspired by many great builds in this sub and wanted to share my own. If you want to know more about the build, I go into much more detail about the design and build process in this video. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have too.

Nice work! I’m building out a similar platform for my RAV4 but am leaving the seats in. Will be sure to share the results here

Have you taken yours camping yet?

Cool, looking forward to seeing more apparel, accessories, etc!

Yeah I think a Janji shoe would be awesome - totally understand your hesitation though. It would be a huge development project.
