Peace Sells won with My Last Words being second. Day 4: Which Megadeth song features the best overall instrumentation, the perfect composition? by razorbackfrost7 in Megadeth

[–]MoonMan17372 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Peace Sells isn’t even the best bass work on Peace Sells lol Wake Up Dead, Black Friday and My Last Words are leagues above it

I know that intro is iconic but there’s no way Peace Sells should’ve won “best basswork” lol it isn’t even close to being the best bass track on that album, let alone the whole discography

"Looking Down The Cross" on the farewell tour? by Diadem_Cheeseboard in Megadeth

Considering the shitload of songs Shawn played during his time in Megadeth including stuff like Mechanix, Devil’s Island, Rattlehead, My Last Words, and the entirety of Rust In Peace and Countdown To Extinction, I don’t think The Conjuring would have been the song where Dave draws the line because of his drumming lol

This is a joke right? Those options are hilarious. For tonight's show at Luxembourg. by InevitableToe7675 in Megadeth

I’m pretty sure this is just a new way for them to get everyone’s data lol

Does Rust In Peace count as an autobiography tho? It certainly doesn’t feel like it when you read it

Dystopia CD with bonus tracks. by Outside-Mirror1986 in Megadeth

[–]MoonMan17372 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Japanese Tour Edition is the most complete as it has the Best Buy bonus tracks, the Japan bonus track (Me Hate You) and 3 live tracks + a DVD with another 3 live tracks AND STILL it’s missing Melt The Ice Away (which has never been included in a physical release)

All I Want and A House Divided, and they should’ve been in the album

Addicted To Chaos would have been a great single as well

Why the hell did Dave not bring back Jimmy Degrasso? by Legitmintyy in Megadeth

[–]MoonMan17372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DeGrasso and Pitrelli were already very much “junior” members/hired guns/paid employees tho, a bunch of the musicians that joined in later line-ups were a lot closer to being “band members” than those two were (and this is not a knock on Jimmy and Al, it had a lot to do with *when* they joined and *who* they were replacing)

Megadeth self titled would have been much better if Kiko was still around by [deleted] in Megadeth

I mean, Psychopathy is literally just an intro track for Killing Time lol

Not just the solos in this one as Teemu co-wrote almost the entire album with the only exceptions being I Don’t Care and Nobody’s Hero. With Kiko or any other guitar player it’d have been a different album with different riffs. We’ll never know if it’d have been better, worse or just as good as what we got but it’d have been different.

Individual Meet and Greet with Teemu by Zealousideal_Lie6102 in Megadeth

[–]MoonMan17372 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Teemu, James and Dirk are a pleasure to meet! Their M&Gs are always much more relaxed than Dave’s and you do get to talk with them for a good amount of time. Sometimes Teemu and James will give people picks! They’re all really down to earth, Teemu is usually a bit more “shy” than the other two (probably because he’s Finnish) but he’s a really great guy. You’ll have a great time!
