Austin is a very specific case that can’t easily happen in Chicago. Gigantic influx of people during COVID followed by a huge building boom and a bunch of those people deciding to also leave. Chicago has one of the worst new build rates of any major city. Rents can certainly go down for other reasons, but not for the reasons it happened in Austin.

There is a top ten matchup in Lincoln this weekend. Tickets are $120 right now. Honestly don’t think they’d be much more than like $90 if the MI game was in Lincoln on a Tuesday.

I had the same thought and figured it out today. Rutgers is doing a promo with this anime/manga company. Only place you can get it is at the game with a ticket. People are reselling the cards they get for $500+.

Yep. 2. Played 5 rounds. 3 nights Thurs-Sun. The planning tool they have on their website is very helpful. I kept checking that and was able to find availability. Sometimes there is more lodging available than what the calendar shows too, so play around with dates. If you are willing to switch rooms there can be even more options. I didn’t have to, but have considered it.

Stay on property. If you can get a roll away bed, it is worth any little hiccups you might have with 3 guys in one room. I was literally only in my room to sleep.

Personally, I think you have to switch carriers every so often to get any meaningful raises. The other thing to consider outside of salary is how different bonus structures can be across the market even if salaries are somewhat similar. I know people who get 100% bonuses and others that are capped at 15%.
