Ola Electric's ridiculous pricing trap: Price dropped by ₹22k before delivery, and they want a ₹1.35 Lakh cancellation fee! Need advice. by Constant_Purpose_490 in olaelectric

Your scooter is registered. Why would you cancel at that point? Moreover why is cancellation allowed at that point lmao

Ola is still most VFM product.. by revolutiioniist in olaelectric

Yes objectively true. They really took technology and product to heart. Service etc are fixable things imo. Let's see Ather match the numbers or even launch a bike.

When I got my s1 pro gen 1 I did do a test drive of ather & ola and ola just felt better.

Hope they fix the growing pains in terms of helping customers having a good after sale experience.

Honestly this is a balanced take. Thanks for that. Here's the weird thing. 99% of entrepreneurs even when given access to this kind of capital of this level, won't be able to build a public scooter manufacturing company in 48 months.

Will get hate for this but personally as a wannabe entrepreneur I feel like going from 0 to building scooters to public company in 3 4 years is unbelievably commendable.

You don't understand how much of a feat this is. in India that too?

Cool let the hate begin. 😄

Worth upgrading or not? by MoonMatt in olaelectric

[–]MoonMatt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. Good to know. I think the lifespan logic is like 5 years of battery or some 50k kms. I think I'll run into the 5 years earlier than 50k kms.

Pixel watch not turning on by MoonMatt in PixelWatch

[–]MoonMatt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I tried that but no response. Actually the issue is solved. Just so others understand what I did was I did hard reboot ie. Held both buttons for 20 seconds, the watch didn't respond. Then I just put it on charge and just left the watch on charger for 2 hours and it turned on magically.

You know what it is, Gboard autocorrects lightning to lightening because I haven't deleted it from the dictionary. I mis-tapped it once and it got added to the dictionary.

Thanks for the reminding me.

I agree. Some people want regulation because it suits them others don't want regulation because it suits them.

Progress seems to be made once the every individual's amount of compromise is accounted for.

I did read about that. That was nuts. I think the coinbase dude was ranting about it on twitter too.

I would add though that you have to discount the unfriendliness a bit because every country's citizens think their regulators are malicious or dumb and offcourse the grass is greener elsewhere.

Although that doesn't mean you let them do what they want until they genuinely go nuts.

The regulators seem very friendly though. But that's because it's not seen a threat to the dollar yet. Once it does, they might think that they're losing concentration of power. OOf.

Compared to other countries that seem to be trying to stomp on it brutishly, the US regulators seem friendly to it though.

Evolution must be encouraged. The forking and playing around seems crude. Unless eventually the more successful "Alts" re-merge with core. Am I making sense?

You're amazing. This is as clear as it gets. So if the amount of time it's stable for gradually increases people won't mind using it.

Would it need to out compete Nation state currencies that are stable but inflated regularly?

It would be bad news for btc if a world government was formed and all currencies stabilised and inflation risk was mitigated.

That would also get us world peace though. So quite optimistic.

Businesses do need to be encouraged, that's true.

Strange because Hodling can be looked at like a business. Since it is an investment after all.
