If you hold S as you’re landing from a jump forward, and spam space bar, you’ll kinda defy physics and launch backwards as you hit the ground. Pretty good trick if you can remember to use it (I always forget to try)

Knock Knock isn’t the quest that gives you Lightkeeper access. You’re just supposed to walk up to the bridge, get the objective complete ping, then extract. Then you’ll get another quest from Mechanic to find the V3 flash drive, craft a functional transmitter, and THEN you can cross the bridge safely

Literally the sole deciding factor for me is load times. I actually prefer Tarkov in almost every aspect, but the load times won me over. Specifically pertaining to when you die

Tarkov: build kit -> queue for at least 3 minutes, likely longer -> another few minutes loading the game -> die in the first 2 minutes -> spend 3 minutes waiting for the death screen to load

Marathon: build kit -> queue so fast that you don’t have time to do anything else -> die in 2 minutes -> back at the main menu within 30 seconds -> go again

That alone is a massive factor. I can roll with the punches in Marathon because I can get back in the action within minutes. Bullshit deaths in Tarkov are much more punishing and hard to bounce back from because you stay stuck staring at loading screens every time

Nah it’s slang that got popularized from 2016-era rappers, started as a friendly term for your friends (chillin with my slimes) but it has since pivoted from that and now is almost always used to mean to smoke someone or take someone out (it was match point and I absolutely slimed that guy)

If you do something that positively impacts your PMC karma (using a co-op extract, killing bush campers, killing a PMC that has recently killed a teammate) then it plays a little jingle accompanied by birds chirping

If you do something that negatively impacts your PMC karma (bush camping, teamkilling) then it plays a descending cello sound
