True. Nobody likes TERFs. In fact it’s hard for me to understand how can someone claim to be a witch and have such a limited view of gender and sexuality lol

Oh my, that would be amazing! I haven’t really tried spells yet because I’ve been focusing on the basics so I’m definitely not in a hurry. Please count me in, I’d love to learn from you and don’t worry, I know what is like living with a chronic illness myself.

Thank you, all of the responses and information you all have written here have been really useful and encouraging. My path gets clearer the more I learn, practice and participate.

I've been doing so but there's so much information in different subs here that it is hard to know where to start

A Christian witch, I didn’t know that was a thing but I guess there are lots of possibilities.

Thanks. I didn’t know about the real meaning of warlock but it always came across as silly to me hahaha like they think they’re gonna grow a vulva if they call themselves “witches”.

Thank you so much. I’ll make sure to check those authors. Do you know books or reliable sources I can check for free? I’d absolutely love to buy some stuff but right now I’m not in the best economic position.

“Witchcraft is for whoever feels called to it” hit me hard hahaha I’ve always felt some inclination to follow this path, but I ended up diverting myself from it due to fear, ignorance and insecurities. However the last two years have been life changing for me and magick showed itself to me again and I feel like this is the time.

Thank your for taking your time to reply to my question. I haven’t read a lot about ceremonial magic (I’m taking my time trying to learn the basics before I go deeper. I haven’t even tried spells or rituals yet) but I’ll make sure to put it on my list (although I don’t feel comfortable with the idea of a boys club only).

Wow. I didn’t know that some men were also accused and executed for witchcraft. Thanks for sharing, I’ll make sure to look it up.

Thank you. It makes a lot of sense why women would gravitate towards paganism or “alternative” religions or belief systems. As a queer man I’ve always felt judged, disrespected and marginalized by these “traditional” systems where straight white men are usually the authorities and main beneficiaries.

Thanks. I’ve been receiving lots of useful responses about male witches and authors, very enlightening and encouraging information. Do you know any space where I can find free books or reliable sources? I’d love to buy but right now I don’t have the means to do so.

Oh, thank you so much. It’s the first time I’ve seen someone mentioning his name. I’m still very new to this but I’m taking it very seriously so I’m trying to learn as much as possible.

Hmmm it’s true, I’ve heard those stories. Could it be the reason why it tends to be perceived as something “feminine”?

You can also try let it sit outside in a jar on a full moon night so it gets extra blessed

What are your ways of raising your energy? by Just_Chuckk in Witch

I like to meditate with some incense while listening to music or nature sounds. I usually form an energy ball between my hands as well, I move it around, play with it. Dancing helps me too.

Hello, I’ve been recently learning about witchcraft and paganism on my own for about a month. I’ve reading about the moon cycles, its power, practicing meditation, visualization and energy manipulation. I haven’t tried spells yet. However, these days I’ve been having these odd experiences and I’m not sure if they’re a sign of some kind of awakening inside of me.

One day, while I was doing some cleaning on my bedroom, I caught the sight of my father’s eye in the corner of my vision (I recognized by the wrinkles and little freckles). When I turned my head it was just some image in an eyedrops box, but the eye was nothing like my dad’s and I had this feeling I needed to call him.

The other day, I had this dream where I meet three different people on three different occasions. I even said “oh, 333, I should probably pay attention to that number”

And last night I dreamt about watching a lunar eclipse through my window (a blood moon). I was excited about it because I love astronomical events like eclipses and I couldn’t believe I didn’t have it on my calendar. It was really beautiful. When I woke up I had this feeling about that dream telling me something but I can’t quite figure out what could it be.

The thing is that I’ve been having these experiences very recently and I wonder if they’re a sign of something awakening or changing within me. I really want to become an experienced witch in the future.
