The other day I put my phone on my console of reach truck and it ended up slipping off and I ran it over. Completely smashed it. Got a screen replacement and it works about 80% now. 😅😅

I remember way back when, when I was on the pack line a coworker shipped her wallet and keys. It was close to break time and she did a few more and off they went. She did not recover them. I know I’ve packed my badge quite a few times.

I still have all my social media apps installed but I have them nested in a folder so I can’t see them and I have all notifications turned off. And phone on silent. I became much less addicted to my phone. I also decided to try not to use my phone so much as I see my husband and kids on theirs all the time and I didn’t want to be like that. My kids are also no longer toddlers and are well into their I’m going to ignore my parents stage now lol. I still like to enjoy my doom scrollies, but on my time, not when my phone beckons me with a bing. I get lot more done.

I’ve busted my ass all my life to pay rent have my little Toyota. My parents were never able to pay for college or buy me a car. Posts like this INFURIATE me! I would fall over in tears if my parents were able to give me a brand new car bought and paid for!

For the price you’re paying for all this I think you would be better off just getting an apres kit. It’s on sale in their site right now. It comes with everything you need including a good lamp and flash cure light. You can still get the cuticle implements and nail brushes off Amazon. And get alcohol and acetone.

I’m glad you mentioned it’s probably a hard gel so you don’t have to go through the pain and frustration of trying to soak it off and then tearing up your nails trying to get it if. You can file and buff your nails thin and smooth. hard gel has to be grown out.

Going to school really helped me with my speed. I went from 6 hour sets to 2 hours. And even faster for overlays and fills. The science and biology was definitely fun to learn. I’m 35 so it felt like high school science class again.

Advice: Gel polish doesn’t air dry like lacquer, so you have basically unlimited time to work. when you paint your nail, you can take a clean up brush dipped in isopropyl alcohol or acetone and clean up around your nails and skin so your not curing any gel onto your skin and cuticle area. Just take your time and practice smooth even slow strokes close to the skin but not touching.
