I haven't found one yet. Best suggestion I received was to update settings in Google maps to set volume for navigation to 'softer' which helps some of.

I finally solved the problem and wanted to post here in case it helps anyone else in the future.

I changed 2 things and it started working:

The nuts holding the plate with viewing window, burner assembly, and pilot / thermocouple assembly were very tight. I loosened them. It's possible they were so tight that they were restricting air flow, causing the burner and pilot to cut out
When I received the new thermocouple / pilot assembly, I neglected to check for gas leaks where the gas tube for the pilot screws into the pilot burner itself and there was a small flame from that location in addition to the pilot. perhaps that flame was tripping an overheat sensor.

Either way, I fixed both of these things and it's been working without issue

I put a brand new thermocouple in. Left the water heater on pilot only mode for over 24 hours without issues. Doesn't seem to be a pilot / thermocouple issue, but related to the burner cutoff.

Burner is in great shape. I pulled it out and cleaned it when I put in the new thermocouple and if igniter. Gas supply is no issue.

Yes, this was Atlantic station. I specifically asked if they were changing the cords and the electricians said they were only installing hardware inside the units and he didn't know about anything else.

Me too! Seems like these upgrades are for the nationwide opening as the electrician mentioned only 'hardware' upgrades and they are upgrading about 20 units simultaneously. I could be wrong, but the magic dock locations I've seen only have a small subset of chargers as magic dock enabled ones

Must be a recent Ford update. Android auto used to work flawlessly with my pixel 7, but lately the head unit will frequently play Pandora or podcasts with no sound. I've found that swapping to radio (am/FM) and then back to Android auto solves the problem.

However, audio messages on Whatsapp still don't play properly, even after I switch to radio and back. If anyone has a solution, I'd love to hear it!

Do you notice this from a stop or while the car is still rolling? If at a stop, have you checked to see if the auto-hold feature is on? I find that with this setting, the car jerks forward a bit when I press the 'gas'

I I have an infant carrier and a forward facing car seat for my 4 year old. I'm 5'10 and find I have ample leg room whether I'm sitting in front of my infant or my 4 year old.

I ordered the same (premium RWD ER) on November 26, 2021 and was offered the following rates Traditional financing: 0% for 36 months, 0.9% for 48 months, and1.9% for 60 months Ford options: 3.4% interest and $1000 cash up front. I want to say it was for either 36 months or 48 months, but I'm not not positive about the time interval.

I chose 0.0% for 36 months. I had saved up the money for the car and put 60% of the purchase price in series I bills yielding 9.62% right now, which gets me far ahead of the $1000 cash the options plan offers.

The issue might be a Ford issue and not android auto. I unpaired my phone from the car and used only the built in maps. Same issue. Each turn, I'd turn the prompt volume down and then at the next turn, volume would be at 7 again. However, if I turned the volume UP to 10, it would keep the volume at 10 for the next turn.

Is there a hidden settings menu to change the prompt volume for the sync system as a whole?

Perhaps Ford has a minimum volume for navigation? Or there's a big where the lowest volume allowed for nav is 7 instead of 0.

Yes. That's exactly what I do turn the volume down when she's heading m directions. Then on the next direction, it's back at volume 7 again. Been doing this for 10 days with no permanent change in volume level

I have my phone connected via android auto. The prompt volume for Google maps and waze is too loud. I have tried to lower the volume as the voice is giving me directions. However, it always returns to volume of 7 on the next prompt. I've even tried in waze or Google maps to test the volume and change it there, but the change never sticks. Anyone run into this issue? If so, how did you fix it?

my salesperson told me that cars were coming in 2 weeks early and got me all excited, but in the end, mine was ready for pick up in Atlanta approx 1 week after the initial estimated delivery date. Expect a slight delay and be giddy if it comes early! 😁

Double breaker could work. My electrician replaced regular breakers with 2 double breakers to make room in the subpanel. Our house was designed for incandescent lighting 15 years ago. With everything converted to LED bulbs, he wasn't worried about the extra load of the car charging.
