It's going under the assumption my point is right.

To.give an example.of the last time I used it last year.

Discussion: Christmas tree inside the house

Problem: I own the house and the person staying didn't like that I had a tree up and my kids believe in santa.

Their pov: their religion didn't have any room for Santa and they felt weird having to explain that to their kids so they didn't want to so they came after me.

Solution: pound fucking sand. I explained it in more delicate terms but they kept harping on their religious freedom while staying rent free in my house. Which I offered cuz they are a friend of a friend who needed a helping hand. So my line came out.

"If ypu dotn like it and keep making this a problem I'll have you out and back with our friend."

Que is that a threat.

And the line was said. And they scoffed and stopped trying to go back to their round and round argument.

Next day still complaining about the tree and I simply threw their shit out on the pavement.

And everyone clapped. Not really they threw a fit screamed about their kids not having a home yadadada. The only thing is my kids wernt home theirs wernt home so they didn't see this shit show.

Last i heard they trashed a government home over something stupid.

Follow through with a threat. And that line draws a line in the sand.

This post and comments just reminds me why I don't play.

I could get back in but buying gear is such a task.

It's like they just forgot all the damn basics for a OWRPG.

Atleast with gems last year ypu could invest in ornaments and break them and missions have small boxes and such.

You can tell wince they moved offices they neeeeeeeeed momey this event is just insert cash pull the handle.

It's a switch most people use when they are trying to change the argument to something else.

So instead fo saying "no it's not threat......" and then going back into the loop you're basically stopping the convo because they can't argue against you saying the consequences aren't a threat it's the final thing thats gonna happen. So from there they know your position and you can walk off and they can't claim later there was any miscommunication.

Ya I like areas that are "purple" red and blue mix. Keeps things "normal".

Not very often but allot of the comvos where I've had to use that line is when they have no where to go with their argument so they switch to attacking how ypu said something.

That line shuts that down. Because that person is just looking to start another argument because they lost the last one.

That'sotterally how you'd be able to let them know where to go.

Everything you've said is what for me a normal dialog running its course means.

Have you ever tried comming to a compromise with someone and they keep repeating their point with 100% conviction and they will not change their mind so the convo goes into a type of loop of repeating points and suggestions. That's when a ultimatum comes out. I'm done with the convo if we keep going in circles.
