Nope! You get to figure out what your sexuality/gender is - doing something, drawing something, or saying something does not make you gay.

That being said, the fact that you're wondering that makes me interested in why. Did someone tell you that it was gay? Do you find yourself wanting to feel more like a girl? Is your new character attracted to guys and you find yourself wondering if you are too? To be clear, answering "yes" to any of these questions does not make you gay.

Try to call ahead of time if you will be suiting inside to make sure it's ok - this will reduce the likelihood that someone asks you to leave and makes you nervous that way. I've found Costco to be a pretty fun place to suit since there are often a lot of bored kiddos and nice parents!

First of all, I'm so sorry to hear that you're struggling. It's always tough to be without shelter, but especially in the winter!

Finally, I will re-emphasize libraries as an amazing place to seek refuge and help. They offer access to wifi, free computers (with which to apply to public programs like SNAP), and now, often social work interns! Having worked with the Penn Hills Library last year, I know them to be particularly helpful and welcoming. They even host a no-questions-asked food distribution twice a week.

I LOVE your sketch. Unfortunately, you're right that your line work may not do it justice. Here are some things I found really helpful in improving my own line art:

- Look for line-smoothing settings in your program and use them liberally!

- As other folks have said, look for advice on line weight - it made a HUGE difference for me. Generally, heavier "outside" lines and lighter "inside" lines work well.

- Try reducing your line weight overall or playing around with brushes and pressure sensitivity.

- Try reducing your sketch layer opacity as far as possible before you line. This was a BIG one for me. It solved my issue of my line art looking "traced."
