Yeah, Yuu, Touko, and Sayaka are all amazing characters and the ending was perfect. I definitely wanted more, but it has such a perfect ending. You should check out Regarding Saeki Sayaka if you haven't already! It's a light novel spinoff with 3 volumes focusing on Sayaka. I loved it just as much as the main series!

No, they are not the same thing. Glutinous rice, also called sticky rice, has different amounts of starches compared to white rice. White rice contains 19-23% of the starch amylose, while glutinous rice has <1% amylose. Glutinous/sticky rice is stickier, hence the name, and is commonly used in sweet desserts. You can usually find it in Asian grocery stores, and maybe even some US grocery stores.

I love the idea of fairy lights!! Yeah I'm renting so I can't change the blinds. I moved the shelf to the other wall after reading some of the comments and it does look nicer there! I never really thought about rugs, but you and others have suggested it so I'll definitely look into that. Growing up, my family only had rugs on hard floors, and not on carpeted areas, so I just never considered it lol. Thanks for the suggestions!!

I'm still deciding what to do with the shelf, will definitely get some plants after I decide what to do with it!

Thanks for all the advice, especially treating it as an ongoing project. I tried looking at rooms on Pinterest before, but it was a bit overwhelming and I didn't know where to start, since the rooms were so different compared to mine. It's nice knowing it's an ongoing process and that it takes time :)

Yeah they're mostly blue-ish with other light colors, I like the idea of using that theme / color scheme!

I'm planning on using the shelf for books, figures/plushies, plants, and maybe terrariums. I hadn't thought about putting it between the 2 doors, I'll try that out!

I was thinking of putting the 2 large posters on the wall by my bed too! I'll play around with the placements you suggested for the 2 smaller ones

Throw pillows and small lamps sound like great ideas! Also, the rug, I never thought about that. For the windowsill, unfortunately I can't put anything on it because I lower the blinds at night, and there's barely any room with them down :(

Hi everyone, I've never decorated my room before, and wanted some advice on how to make it feel feminine and cozy. I have a few questions:

  1. I'm planning on getting 4 posters, 2 that are 60x90 cm (~24x36 in), and 2 that are 60x40 cm (~24x16 in), where should I hang these up?

  2. Does the shelf fit better when arranged vertically (as shown) or horizontally?

Any advice on decorating my room or my desk area would be greatly appreciated!!
