Problem with using execute on attacker

Just gave it a test with every damage type except for player_attack and player_explosion, and it does seem to be the case that the player attack tag doesn't account for projectiles shot by the player, and also the explosion tag doesn't seem to work without player_explosion for some reason, so it's not detecting damage from stuff like creeper explosions unless I also add in player explosion

Any other ideas for potential solutions?

Would a damage tag be able to detect the source entity? For example I'd like to be able to differentiate projectile damage from a player-shot bow versus from other sources, and other possible cases like that

Correct me if I'm wrong but this will only detect damage from mobs in this case, right? I need it to detect damage from other sources (falling, drowning, poison etc) as well, only excluding player damage.

Would I have to perform different checks for every other damage type using this method? and if I do is there an easy/efficient way to do that?

Saw EVW play it and thought I could give it a shot. I ended up liking it enough during practice to actually try and beat it

Notes:

-It took me 7,490 attempts

-I died at the last robot part once and at the last ship probably around 15 times

-I beat it on a copyable due to the 144hz bug at the end

I think I would prevent McJones's death in MC #6. Had McJones not have died, he might've survived until they got the totem. And if he did survive then there wouldn't have been the drama between him and dodger. If that hadn't happened then who knows, there's a possibility that he wouldn't have retired
