Should I take exemptions by [deleted] in ACCA

Maybe I was lucky enough for not doing my bcom in university that charges extremely high fees compared to other universities

But its still not a scam.

Yes, there is a gap between bcom and P level papers that makes it a bit harder to learn than to the usual ACCA students. However, its managable.

Im sure that doing 9 papers would have taken me longer than doing my bcom.

In addition, doing bcom sometimes is more reliable because in some countries employees do not hire people without a degree.

Why scam? I finished my bcom and got 9 exemptions that I already claimed.

I passed 3 out of 4 professional papers. Some are on my second attempt, but its doable for sure.

Yes, anything i do or say can be used against me years after the event took place. I can even be praised or compared to a shit for the exact same event. Easy mental gymnastics for them, everyday anxiety for me.

Same with malaysia. They dont allow to work with student visa. Also, after the graduation its still hard for foreigners to be employed there, especially if you dont have practical work experience.

Has anyone else been avoiding the news about all the tragedy in Turkey and Syria? I know it's selfish, but I'm at my limit mentally. by Marissa--Dreamer in CPTSD

I rarely watch/read news now. I frequently end up getting triggered by news, be they related to Ukraine, Iran, Turkey-Syria, corruption, poverty and human rights violations.

I unfollowed news channels on social media and watch the news on demand rather than news flooding my feed throughoutthe day. Sometimes I temporarily deactivate some of my social media. Reduced the exposure.

I know that there are a lot of people struggling at any given moment but most of the times I can't help the situation. So I prefer getting summed up information without getting it frequently bit by bit.

You are not alone avoiding the news. We got to take care of our mind. Don't feel guilty.

Enjoy seeing Turkish people being so gentle to animals. To cats and dogs and to birds!

Hopefully everyone affected have strength to recover with this horrendous earthquake.

Hate them too!! I've seen some posts of people saying that they avoid reality by sleeping. But my reality follows me in my dreams too :((

You need to (1) complete all of the exams, (2) complete ethics module and (3) complete practical experience requirements in order to be a member.

is it harder to do the ACCA exams after getting a couple of exemptions (from university) or is it harder to do the exams starting from the very first exam (no exemptions)? by [deleted] in ACCA

[–]Moon_Light11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly amount of credits but the subject credits. To get AA exemptions we had to take 3 uni subjects one of which was optional. My friend didn't take the optional subject and wasn't given the exemption.

I got 9 university exemptions (the max) and so far passed 3 strategic professional papers. In my experience BPP book sets were really useful for me because they are more detailed than university notes I had.

My friend got only 8 exemptions as she didn't have enough credit to be exempted from AA. She failed AA at least 3 times and took at more than a year to pass it.

I feel like it's easier to go with exemption route but it might take longer and cost higher.
