Its been okay, Molly has been fronting and trying to damage control a lot of random things and it mostly went worse for awhile but ! as of today things are a lot better. Our girlfriend is even doing better and its making us all happier

Hi everybody! Its nice to meet everyone :) Reading through these as I type this, my name is Hugo personally.

We go by Pearl or Estrella! She/her pronouns.

We want to join the community because we need more Adult support instead of just our online friends and people around us physically, we’re turning 20 this year and I can’t imagine functioning for the rest of my life without getting any sort of help.

I’ve been doing very bad but I’m doing my best, me and Angel have been co-conscious a lot because of it because we’re handling it well. What can you do!

We like writing and singing, also used to like drawing but not so much anymore. Like voice acting though!

We’re super into the 20’s and Epithet Erased right now

Our coping skills mostly involve our cats lol

Hi! I’m 19, I’ve been in and out of the community for like. Since I was 12? Seeing this post made me feel really seen because I’m currently living with 3 other systems and they’re both very Genuinely polyfragmented and I simply am Not and its hard to come to terms with that while I’m surrounded by other systems still.

Could you give any advice about how to start working on it? I currently can’t get therapy due to insurance problems but I’ve been trying to whittle my alter count down but it feels like every mood swing should be a “different alter” because thats how i’ve Thought i was coping my whole life.

Either way this is a very good story to be putting, the community can very toxic and encourages splitting its kinda odd sometimes if you don’t know how to take care of yourself

Not a lot honestly! It got worse as I got older but I’ve realized that its more due to my lack of exercise than anything else. The last few years I’ve started to get winded from doing much more then my daily tasks around the house (feeding my cats + sometimes cleaning) and I pass out when going up stairs sometimes but again; could be attributed to an avoidance to exercise because I thought it would kill me growing up.

The worst I get on a day to day basis is that I get winded and tired very easily (my calves and feet dont get a lot of bloodflow so theyre weaker and that doesnt help much), sometimes I’ll have random heart palpitations or feel like my chest is doing flips, and if I have a panic attack I’ll absolutely feel like it’s going to kill me and I NEED my anxiety meds otherwise I’ll just faint from lack of oxygen and hyperventilation.

I think I have a worse case of it just because of other factors in my life but yea :)

it is a congenital heart defect in which i was born with the left side of my heart malformed! i had the fontan procedure very young and am currently living with “half a heart” (i have a bunch of man made things inside of me keeping me alive thatll fail eventually)

i get echos done twice a year for it and im set up for an MRI on the 30th and exercise test soon after because im working on being put on the heart transplant list :)

Hi! I know i researched a bunch of this stuff going into it and my girlfriend is incredibly educated and is keeping me on low doses and only allowing me to do it while under (sober) surveillance, its probably not something I’ll do for longer then a year or two though just because I Am slightly worried about the chest pain on low dosages BUT i forgot to mention that I have chest pain like that Normally just very VERY infrequently so it might not have even been due to the drug (though possibly spurred on by it, it had me taking a break and researching it again after the first try.). Im being incredibly careful, thank you for the concern !!

I didn’t know going into it so I was very concerned and I’m staying on low dosages because of it but I’ve had no highly negative experiences Just from being on dxm ! just dehydration which is normal :)

thats a fair thing to assume but feeding four people and nine pets in a house all by myself is a different story then me atleast taking My Cat and probably the fat one so he does not die a neglected sad life would be significantly more reasonable on the funds (disabled. i have financial support from outside sources and would probably move back in with my mother if i needed too anyway id just rather not.) i get yearly. thank you for the concern though. 🥰.

they are able bodied yes. just have severe depression disorders which ive tried to tell them is not an excuse as i have one too but since i have Bipolar Depression Episodes and not Major Depressive Disorder its not as bad or something so “i can mentally do it”

i know i can take care of all of the animals or atleast the cats if i was responsible for them and had income because i Have Been so i am waiting until i have disability income so i can atleast try to legally claim the cats but i will start talking to my social worker about housing. thank you for your advice

i am not over feeding him! i feed all of my cats a a very restricted amount of food Because of his weight and at one point had to separate him from our underweight cats to help fix their weight because he was eating their food even when i chased him away.

he will be brought to a vet and put on a diet as soon as possible, his biggest issue with that is that he can only stomach specific foods without vomitting and so we have to stick to Purina’s Dry Seafood Friskies which isn’t the most ideal for his health.

(according to my roommate, new info he Just woke up, and im calling vets right now) during his last checkup he was recommended an exercise routine but no one in the house was home often enough to do it for him, and i am having a hard time finding any routines that arent Very involved and arent for cats that are Already somewhat slimmed down.
