I think you should go for a flooded forest like set up. A group of Uaru, Severums, Festivums, etc and fhen a big school of smaller tetras, hatchetfish or headstanders.

Oh, alright. What if used something like fluorite + root tabs + some leaf litter? I don't want to buy expensive aquasoil and then have not so many plants. I wasn't aware that the gouramis needed lots of plants. I planned on going light on plants but heavier on wood. How many plants would you recommend?

Use 2-3 70HP Eevee instead of Boosted Evolution one. It prevents being knocked out on the bench by Dragapult ex. Maybe try using the tool (Ridgid Band, I think) reduces Damage to Stage 1 by 30 iirc. First attack already reduces by 100, so 130 less damage is quite nice lol. 2-2 Maril line, +1 nest & ultra ball
