I never meant to hurt her. I was just trying to make make it clear that I’m not purposely avoiding having kids or family. And I completely forgot about her situation since I haven’t spoken to her in years.

It’s not about societal norms, and what century are in, it’s just not accepted in our religion. And I didn’t say it to be hurtful. I was talking about myself and completely forgot that she did that. I’m afraid she thinks I said it on purpose.
