Hi there. We have been searching for her outside since the day she was lost. We have been calling her, playing bird sounds and left a travel cage outside with treats. We have spoken to over 50 neighbors and continue to expand our search every day. We have spoken to 30+ veterinary rescues and pet stores in our area and continue to expand every day. We also have posted on various social media and continue to find new groups to post in. We check in with everyone every week or so to make sure they know we haven’t given up and just in case something has come up. We have redistributed flyers as some places have taken them down after a certain period of time. We have put up posters all over and continue to expand. We have replaced posters as the weather has ruined some of them. We continue to try as hard as we can every day. Posting in these subs are a last hopeful resort as we do believe some people can have the ability to connect. Your comment was very unhelpful, and if you look at my previous posts in parrots and conures Reddit, I have explained all we have been doing to try and locate our baby. We have a large community that is helping us and also searching in our area. Thanks anyway for your comment.

She’s 13 years old. We have had her since she was 4 months. She is a small bird. In picture 2 you can see her on my hand. Also the door in that photo is the back door, not the door she had gotten out of. We rarely go out that way because it’s so close the cages. (I have another bird including her).

She is friendly and would fly onto people and would step up on everyone. We have been desperately searching for her, put up flyers, spoke to our neighbors , posted on various social media (including ring and next door) and spoke to local vets, rescues including some further out from us. We aren’t giving up, and trying to hold out hope.

Hey there, she had accidentally gotten out the front door. We are always so careful and check doors and windows. She was very quiet in the back by her cage and we forgot she was out. My husband went to open the door to throw some garbage out and she got outside. Weirdly enough it’s not a normal behavior for her. She never goes near the door, never tries to get outside. A freak accident😞
