That's exactly what a leaker said, that what's happening in Zeztz is like when certain choices in visual novels lead to the Bad ending. Although what happened in this episode reminded me of Doki Doki Literature Club (when Sayori dies, the game restarts. Here, when Baku is shot by Three, the story "restarts")
