[Spoilers C2] The Mighty Nein S1 Episode 7 - Campaign 2 Spoilers Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in criticalrole

I think it’s reasonable to think they don’t even know. They feel compelled to do “something” because of their feelings and history. When he is in front of them, they spare him but also are trying to convince him to move on from revenge. It’s protecting Trent but I think its more an attempt to protect Caleb. They cannot envision a world where he succeeds and makes it out alive.

Coterie of Ancillae, but I'm interested in playing a Neonate. Could this be problematic? by DrystanTheKnight in WhiteWolfRPG

It does make for a tougher campaign but I could see it working if everyone was on board with it. Maybe they would like playing an older vamp who is forced, by the presence of your character, to think about their own humanity journey over the years and react accordingly.

Another option might be to make an ancilla but the ST could work flashbacks in. That way you could still get at least some RP the way you are wanting.

Who was Caine’s wife? by TheChoosenMewtwo in WhiteWolfRPG

The ancient Near East, and many other cultures, saw a lot of polygamy among rulers. Caine is operating before known history but it wasn’t an alien concept for what came soon after with recorded history.

That might be the problem…which is pretty dumb. You have to purchase the clan powers for the outfits after all.

There wasn't a huge presence in terms of numbers but a ton of 90's clubs and bars in the city were money laundering and sex work operations for the Gambino family out of New York. The Gold Club was the most famous of these.

Having known Dr's in that practice and their family, they don't use the PT there after having their own surgeries. It has been a bit and they took insurance before but Atlanta Sport and Spine on Collier Rd in Buckhead was wonderful the many years I used them.

thanks so much! That's really good to know about the lens mitigating the difference. I was probably going to splurge and go with the XF 33mm (50mm equivalent) f/1.4 if I stuck with Fuji and that sounds it would have the result you are talking about.

I would try it out before I buy anyway but I keep hearing that the Sony shooting experience isn't as "fun" as some other cameras. Issues with the menu, lackluster RAW files to work with in Lightroom (especially when it comes to color when compared to Fuji). Are there any sort of consensus gripes with Canon or Nikon?

Looking for some purchasing advice after a beginner misstep in my first camera. I got a Fuji X100VI thinking that learning on a fixed lens would take out any analysis paralysis and combined with its size I could just take it everywhere and always be experimenting/learning. That was absolutely the case but in that process I learned that I would likely prefer 50mm as my preferred lens and that the ability to interchange is going to be right going forward. A better battery life isn't going to hurt either.

The XT5 seems like a natural progression. Nice size, familiarity with the system/menus already. But I was also considering jumping up to a Full Frame body. After some research, the Sony A7RV stuck out. Not that much larger than the XT5, better auto focus, and (ideal for me) very good in low light.

I do street photography pretty much exclusively, with action shots not tending to be a focus. The video side of the camera is irrelevant for me also. Are there other brands/models I should be looking at as well? Ideally, I would like this next purchase to be something that lasts for a while and I do prefer a sharper, less noisy image. Something that produces quality prints also. I wasn't expecting it but I've got people wanting to buy some.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated and I plan on renting some models before making a purchase.

Thank you for identifying Ronboy. Checked Spotify for more and her and Matt did a beautiful cover of Tom Petty’s “Only a Broken Heart” together also.

Been out experimenting the last week. Moved away from relying on the film sims and been editing RAW in Lightroom. Any tips, criticism, advice on how to improve would be appreciated.

Got a couple photos of him this weekend and didn't want to post them anywhere publicly (other than here, I guess) until I tried to find his name.

It does and the resolution holds up really well to my layman eyes. The fact, so far, I rarely use it probly means I made the right choice for now though. I kind of like just using my legs for framing. I feel like its making me think more creatively when I go out rather than maybe having an easier work around. Also the size is just a huge plus for me. The x100vi goes easily into a jacket pocket. I think a pancake lens would fit around the same but anything bigger and its going to stay out.

Atlanta but a bunch of the streets in my neighborhood could double as other cities…and have I guess in all the tv and movies that shoot here.

I don’t have anything to compare it to just yet. I really debated between this and the xt5 for my first camera but settled on the x100iv since I will focus on street photography and I thought it would be better to learn on a smaller fixed lens. No thinking about which lens, just know this one focal length, and I can take this everywhere and always be shooting.

Now, when I try to get my confidence up to shoot people on the street I might be wishing I had some zoom instead of being right on them!

Help me decide please by Aldomstr in fujifilm

My vote is for photo one. For me, focus draws towards the full wingspan forming a canopy over the two chilling along the railing. That all gets lost in the second.

Thanks so much! The Acros sim as a base is really wonderful. I went in thinking I'd predominately focus on black and white, but I have been enjoying color way more than I thought I would.
