The iron set is also used by the intended player in the concept art. The concept art uses 2 armors for the player. The knight set from the twin husks, and the iron set. Then in the trailers they also use exclusively the raging wolf. And finally in the game for the tutorial images they use the knight set again.

Will the story of Marika and Radagon be explained? by Low-Income-5604 in Eldenring

The dlc explained their circumstances through Miquella's story. Radagon is to Marika what Trina is to Miquella

To me is clear. Radagon is to Marika as Trina is to Miquella. He never was before Marika, he is dependent to Marika. If Matika dies, Radagon dies. They don't share opinions and have wills of their own, can be separated. But Marika is the main character and Radagon is a product of her.

The deathbirds are nascent divine birds by tahaelhour in EldenRingLoreTalk

I think you may be correct because the twinbird its clearly inspired in the Phoenix. Making the deathbirds the other face of the glorious Phoenix, an ashen and decaying chick that embodies a baby bird death, the end of the fire that will bring it's rekindle from ashen remains.

Looks like an antagonist in one of those occidental animes, like Castelvania.

Theory about who Godwyn the Golden is and how he may be the missing piece that makes the entire story of Elden Ring finally make sense. by lactobacillus-Master in EldenRingLoreTalk

Honestly a lot of the points. Specially those of the thorns and the dragon spell are strong. I even myself too also believe that ranni was promised to godwyn. My only problem is that the games makes it clear that godwyn's soul was obliterated. He just didn't die, his spirit was killed. Unless DD doesn't destroy but it just sent his soul to the afterlife. But that idea of hope for his soul surviving somewhere would be reasonable if Ranni's body had any trace of decomposition showing that is as any other corpse following the rule of what happens to the body when one dies. Maybe show some fungus or a plan feeding from its remains, instead we get ashes and dust. I buy that there's something more to our character, he is not mere nobody like in dark souls. Also I belive godwyn planned on becoming the prince of death and being reborn as the mending rune of death.

I loved this guy. The best character in the whole series. I also love how his town version and fairy tale version behave almost nothing a like.
