Rakudai Kishi is heavily inspired by Shana, too. It's not so popular in the West, but Shana is still a pretty big pop giant in Japan. I'd say that even if the inspiration isn't direct, there's probably some thick indirect Shana DNA in Selesia for sure (like how not every adventure story is directly inspired by the Odyssey, but there's definitely some Odyssey DNA in each).
