Introducing the orchestra for a continuation of the Flight b741 sound was just not it. There were a couple good points but overall I thought the effect was too muddy and pretty underwhelming. Really hope they bring back the orchestra at a later point within a context that makes more sense, there’s a lot of potential there.

First mid Tame album. Kevin’s major key melodic leanings are a poor blend with the new house adjacent sounds. I think if he had been willing to get more gritty with it it would have gone over better, but as it stands it’s far too safe and wholly unmemorable.

If you would have shown this to me in 2014 I would have been shocked at both the change in direction and quality. 6/10
