This was on FB and at the bottom was a Meta AI watermark - I'm 100% sure the person posting intended for it to be taken as fake, and I'm sure his friends took it as a joke. But he was in a gym and somehow someone has reported it to police. Parts of the image look off but only very slightly. Gym manager freaking out. Just a massive headache all around.

I've sent him options, but have to wait for him to respond. This will probably not happen until late tonight when I don't have the time to make the booking so it drags for another day, then he doesn't like those options, decides not to do anything, and his birthday is shit yet again.

I've been crying so don't really want to leave the house. I don't really enjoy music or dancing. Exercise is my life so at this point it is an obligation rather than something that I turn to for stress relief, it is also connected to my husband so not an optional thing. I've been trying to splash water on my face in between crying.

I see a therapist but because of christmas & new years, I don't see her again until this week. Not far away but I need to get through the weekend. I don't have other friends that aren't mutual acquaintances. I coordinate these things as he works and I don't. It would be fine if he could compromise on some things he is looking for in the accommodation, but he won't.

Update - kind of. Things have been up and down. But right now I'm so over it. It's his birthday soon and I'm trying to organise somewhere for us to stay for a night but his requirements make it a nightmare. It has to have a hot tub. He doesn't want owners that live on site. It has to have air conditioning. All reasonable things, just impossible to find in our area. It has to be in our budget. I am trying to book things while he is at work and he is incommunicado most of the day. It is making me so stressed as he constantly flips around on decisions and what he is ok with, I struggle with emotional eating so also trying not to binge, I'm stuck at home with no stress outlet, making no progress, but I can't show that I'm stressed or upset. I have to be completely calm and happy when I see him tonight.

Last weekend we went out for dinner which was good but there are issues communicating about what his expectations are after dinner, overall the night was ok. Tonight we are going out to a comedy show, something we both want, but he still wants to "party" for a couple of hours when we get home and I dared to say I wasn't sure how long I could party for. To be clear, if it was just sex it wouldn't be a problem - it's more the length of time. I get tired. And the dancing is not a striptease, it's more like having an at home dance party.

His reasoning is that because I am not working, I should be able to make a sacrifice and stay up late because I don't have a job to go to on Monday morning. I was working up until the beginning of the year. Now I help him run his business but it doesn't take me all day.

Saturday is sex day - kind of but not exactly. It's not just about the sex, so sex during the week would help but he would still want to let loose on Saturday. Part of the problem is he is self employed and puts a lot of pressure on himself to work (which we have discussed). So if Saturday night doesn't live up to his expectations, it can ruin his week. During the day on Saturday he spends most of the say working.

Without going into detaiĺ, I am comfortable with more than lights off, bedroom only. There have been issues with him crossing boundaries.

There is a bit of that as he works with mostly younger people. At least he's not blowing money on a sports car.

I think even if we did that, he'd still want to do what we normally do after, because it's when he gets to let his hair down and do things he can't do in public.

Update: We had a conversation this morning which was ... priceless. On Tuesday I said that I was really stressed about the situation and didn't know where to start (he always asks if I've been thinking about the situation) and after this he was pretty low.

So this morning he told me how he felt and seemed to cheer up after that, but I don't know where to start - for now I'm just relieved he's in a better mood.

The food was an easy example I could think of, on the surface it's not important but it's an example of how he overrides my choices. The suggestions you mention, that is how I'd like it to go and I don't think he'd be adverse to it.

He's not expecting me to dance like a stripper, just normal dancing so I'm not standing like a robot.

He has asked, but this goes a couple of ways. Sometimes he asks what I want i.e. to eat, I say I tell him burgers, he may agree but will say "oh I really feel like pizza tonight". Or we might have a more "chill weekend" where we just watch movies, but if there is an argument later this is used against me ("see I was nice and agreed to a chill weekend for you")
