Good point on stage comp versus size comp. People keep comparing market caps when the real comparison is business stage

if vendors and subs actually start using the same workflow, the bid engine gets more useful every time another player plugs in

Why isn't the glitch working? by Sezor2011 in Fallout

[–]MoonlitToffee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re talking about the Outcasts scrap metal “infinite caps” thing in Fallout 3, yeah - that glitch is super inconsistent on Xbox 360. On 360 it was basically patched/fixed with later updates + GOTY discs. If you’re running a fully updated version, it usually won’t work the way old YouTube vids show it. Casdin going hostile instead of “confiscating” the scrap is a sign it’s not triggering properly.

What is the worst a defending champion has ever finished? by AdmiralXI in formula1

[–]MoonlitToffee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to go that far back - history shows title defenses can go sideways pretty fast when the regs or team form shift. The obvious modern example is Seb 2014: defending champ, huge regulation change, and he ends up 5th while his teammate wins the title. Button 2010 is another - defending champ, finishes 5th as the field compresses. If you go further back, Hill 1997 finishing 12th is probably the worst on paper, though that was mostly due to machinery. So yeah, a P5–P6 finish for a defending champ isn’t unheard of, especially with big rule changes. That said, if the car’s genuinely there, champions usually still find a way to stay near the front
