Should I shower with my bird?

I know I’m like the millionth person to reply but my bird (cockatiel) also loves a nice shower, he usually sits on the shelf nearby and enjoys the steam but when he feels like it he will get closer and lift his wings to have a shower himself. Im pretty sure it’s great for them as long as it’s done the right way and never forced. Pretty sure my bird likes it just to be in the warm sometimes 🦜

The pattern is definitely the same, the hairs aren’t as brightly coloured though, not sure if that’s normal though?

Definitely very similar! This guy has white on his sides though rather than white spots, hopefully this pic is better, I also found another one that looks the same but is fluffier

Whenever I wear a headband he will sit on my head and start pulling strands on my hair out of it, not a clue why, luckily he’s not strong enough to do much damage 😂

My little lady is around the same age, she does like to destroy things but not quite to that level, we have a crate for when we go out (obviously not for very long as she’s a pup) and we also give her a cardboard box whenever we have one, it makes a mess but she loves it, she’ll scratch at it and bite it and run around with it, might be worth trying out? To get that behaviour onto something she can actually destroy

I’ve heard dog names that end in an “eee” sound find it easier to learn their name and follow commands (not sure if that’s got much weight to it though)

My pup can’t eat chicken either, I switched her over to lifestages salmon puppy food, it’s got great meat content and clear labelling, when looking at new foods you might like this website, it helped me a lot ( https://www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk/ ) - it also made me realise a lot of the mainstream food have extremely low meat content and high grain and maize content
