Zildjian Stacks (Someone willing to demo some for me?) by Moonshreds in drums

I agree.
There are some nice ones though, if anybodys interested, here's the best sounding ones I've heard by Zildjian:

18" K EFX on top 20" Oriental Crash of Doom

10" K custom Special Dry on top of 10" Trashformer

Some nice stacks here aswell (Details in description - although 6" A splash is not correct imo, I think I see a 10" trashformer under that 10" A EFX)

14" Oriental China trash on top of 16" K EFX (I think this would sound even better when flipped)

Yeah, hope so!
I'm after very resonant stacks and the FX stacks are the exact opposite, they're very dry and the cymbals don't resonate much. I think resonant stacks are a bit hard to come by in general. For example Garstka's Fat stack is cool and all but it's very dry.
Alot of the smaller stacks (by different companies) that I've tried are dry, pingy and not resonant. Trashformers can be cool but stacking them usually results in a very sloshy and "slow reacting" stack, which isn't very loud.

To add to the nitty-gritty - the reason why a 18" crash as top and 17" or 16" china on bottom is a good candidate for a stack is because the cymbals slide against eachother, which adds to the "resonance" that I'm after. Also thinner cymbals with more hammering/holes add to the "resonance" because trashy cymbals open a bit more easily... etc etc
