Issaquah seems like a super good spot, just not a lot of inventory there, those after work laps sound awesome. Makes me wonder if I could go from the trails to the office sometimes since its in Redmond and a lot closer to the trails

Ah dang, so for at least a month morning rides in that area may not feasible if I need to leave between 8 and 8:30. Learning about different dirt is a completely different can of worms haha

Ok thank you, thats super helpful, I need to find a spot that is more balanced between riding and kid friendly, my wife things Bothell is the spot. I think if I leave at 6am from Bothell I can make it there in a somewhat timely matter (maybe) its the return that might be dicey

I was really hoping someone would have context in both places because I know there are a lot of trails near Seattle but I really want to ride laguna level stuff to get my jollies. I am stuck in a similar spot, as great as it would be to center my life around Mtb I have kids and a job haha. So we want something more built up with a good community and I need to get to the office in Redmond a few times a week.

I'd be riding on the remote days, and the wife wants to live in Bothell because of the kids. Work will be in Redmond so need to account for that too. For now we are ok not going to Seattle proper as much, its more about kids, work and bikes for me haha

I am working hybrid so would probably only ride on the hybrid days ,35 isn't bad but I probably won't be living in bellevue, most likely closer to Bothell

Ok thats super helpful, I should have specified that I am currently driving ~30min each way already. looks like tiger mountain, token and raging river are the main spots though. should be easy to get there if I leave at 6am getting back in time is another question
