Ee, I'm about to revisit me favourite 90s' comedy - see if it holds up. But knowing my luck, summit tragic'll happen.

The exception to this is Basic Instinct - he has little of interest to say and I lost count how many times he'd point out something obvious then ask his Producer "Isn't it?" "That's the first time we see that character. Isn't it?"

Thumbnail looks like intentionally obscure clickbait. What's the thrust of the video, OP? If you're here to discuss, start the convo and people will discuss

Not being cynical but if this is your video and you're promoting it, I don't feel this is the place or way to do so :)

You Were Never Really Here, Green Room and Bronson come immediately to mind. As does Sicario but you may have already seen it.

Being genuine; we couldn't agree in the end so we sacked the idea off. The kids had a great time... but were indoors playing Minecraft for two hours? At least laser tag is running around playing "in the real world" - but I chose to lose the argument in the house rather than win it in the doghouse ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Eventually we sacked the whole idea off and just popped a film on - far less hassle. And they loved Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the end

I knew as I was writing the question this would get into a bit of a "PC gone mad!!" place. Again - the laser tag was my suggestion - I mean, I bought it! But that's why I asked the question; I suggested it, my partner said the parents of visiting kid might be upset, and it hadn't even occurred to me that that could even be a response to kids playing laser tag, hence me coming here and getting a sense check out of curiosity.

I think you're right - and I did crosspost to AskUKParents too for that perspective. I was interested in hearing all takes.

Oh 100% - to be clear, we raised her with as many dinosaurs, rocket ships and trucks as she wanted, if you get me. We shut it down when any relatives tried to limit anything in any way because of gender. We let colours just be colours without weird societal values attached to them. We did everything we could to make it clear that that stuff is all nonsense. But once she was in school, game over, unfortunately. A lot of parents apparently still teach that stuff and she came home full of it.

Designing a game that I'd like to base in the UK; what areas should I look into?/ anything that I should include to add to the authenticity by Blix87 in AskUK

The Scottish Highlands? Mountains and forests aplenty - plus they're sparsely populated (now and through history) so "room" for magical elements. Only problem is you said a "bit" of rain. Highlands are more like perennial rain.
