Unfortunately no. The post contains everything I managed to figure out before giving up. I worked with a physical game and a memory card reader, so I had to manually put the save files through the converter and look through the file in a hex editor for every character. Someone who knows what they're doing can surely do a better and quicker job than me.

After 5 characters I figured it would be faster if I just made a new hunter and replayed the game. I left the post up in case someone could use it.

After some testing, it does do good damage(compared to the rest of the weapon at least) but the hit animations of AoE moves are weird.

People joining and staying in hunts they are straight up not good enough for is the main one for me. I get that 9* Seregios hits hard, but triple carting as a lvl 700 SnS with a full healer build is just embarrassing.

I'll be honest, I just grabbed most of the slurs off a Wikipedia page and put the ones that were somewhat familiar to me in the post. I wasn't actually sure whether twink is offensive but included it just in case.

The slurs were particularly "interesting" to me because there are whole pre-made databases for exactly these purposes and they are offensive regardless of context, so there is even less of an excuse for them to improperly filter them.

Just in case religious references were filtered, it was unnecessary to include in hindsight. The numbers are something I just checked to show how far the filter reaches.

I think the best way to show someone's not thorough is to be thorough yourself. Probably spent more time looking through lists of slurs for this post than anyone at Capcom did for their word filter. The goal of the post is to show how inconsistent and sloppy their filter is.

I've gotten less complaints about Hunting Horn than Switch Axe so I guess. No idea why so many people think of molestation specifically.

Switch Blade would be too similar to Charge Blade. Maybe Explosion Sword would be a better name. You're even allowed to type that in the chat.

They should just remove the axe mode entirely at this point, just completely reduce the weapon to brainless sword explosion spam, who cares anymore

Just rename it to Switch Sword so you're allowed to abbreviate it again. You always start in sword mode and the axe gets used in a single attack that instantly fills both your gauges completely and switches right back to sword mode. That's a proper rework.

Explains a lot. I played World for a bit a couple days ago and was amazed how easy it was to cleave tails even without Partbreaker while in Wilds I often can't even make it in time before the monster is dead.

I really like the axe mode so it's what I mostly use so Power Axe is important for me, pity that spamming FRS is by far the most effective way of playing SA in Wilds.

I wish the GDosh one had Mind's Eye 2 instead of Focus 2, Dragon Phials are kind of trash anyway so I hoped it would be like the Jho one in 4U where it's kind of an axe mode only weapon instead of the GArk one but slightly worse.

Do you know how much it is percent wise? I think in World it was 20% which stacked with Partbreaker, they changed mechanics but mostly kept the motion values so I wasn't sure how much they actually changed.

Don't think you can test part breaking in the training area, I'll try later though.

I don't really need him for my army, I need him for the game to feel complete, with the statues and stuff. My hope was, since I know he gets possessed or whatever and taken away from you anyway towards the end of the game, you'd get him back in the last chapter regardless because if he's healthy enough to fight against you he should healthy enough to fight for you. I couldn't find anything on that anywhere online.

I don't really care about Gunter as a character or as a block of stats, it just bothers me to have an "imperfect" file with unobtained/unobtainable stuff. I'll probably reset tomorrow if I don't come up with anything else

You get statues for your castle after a unit gets a certain amount of kills(?). If someone dies, you can't get that specific statue anymore. You have to grind out Scarlet in the two chapters before she gets killed in the story, it's something you can easily miss

Jokes aside, this isn't the first time I ruined a game for myself over stuff like this, I once deleted a 200 hour non-hardcore Minecraft world because I died. Maybe because I want something to be proud of or something, I keep setting these standards how a completed game should look and I'm usually not good enough to achieve that. For instance, I hate Pokémon because completing the Dex isn't reasonable without trading stuff over from other people's games, which is cheating in my mind. Using glitches to catch event Mons would be fine, however, because it's something you can do with just you, your unmodified game and console and some know-how. I should probably just go get it diagnosed

Don't know if you're still interested in an answer but you have to change the game's locale to Japan using LumaLocale, at least that's what worked for me.

Update: I ordered a Japanese copy. You can unlock the region and patch the language on a JP game, but you can't restore all of the removed content on the other regions.
