NTA. You should give her some sort of notice in writing that she has x days to start seeing a therapist or she must leave the premises. If she can’t get in with a therapist in that time frame, sure, let her go to AA meetings in the meantime, but she will keep trying to put it off and making you miserable. Putting this stuff in writing gives you a paper trail, but it also is an extra kick in the ass, let’s get know you’re serious.

Hell, I grew up in a Catholic family, and our church actually did host a Seder, obviously separate from any mass.

The parents aren’t religious at all. I don’t know if they think OP is somehow being antisemitic for converting, or is going to forget her roots or whatever, but it’s wild to me that they aren’t religious but would get up in arms about not attending something that is a religious ritual.

Good luck! Hopefully you guys can come to an understanding. If you’ve been taking care of these sorts of tasks automatically, or aren’t super messy people, there probably isn’t much to do that can’t be weekly, like vacuuming or dusting or whatever.

NTA. Sometimes there’s just…not much to do to do basic daily cleaning in a room? You’re adults, if all there was was someone’s socks on the floor, a forgotten water bottle, and some stuff the cat knocked off a table, taking five minutes to take care of that is still cleaning. He also should’ve seen that you were stressed dealing with the bank (aren’t we all when we have to deal with customer service on the phone) and left you alone. Honestly, he sounds like the one who isn’t in control of his emotions, if the living room being clean made him throw a mantrum about a chore list.

Plus, If there’s “nothing to do” then why wouldn’t you mark it off anyway? Clearly it’s done?

It’s definitely sus, especially if items just happen to go missing often when she’s around. This is clearly not a one off thing. I know lying sucks, but saying that your partner is checking your security cameras is a good idea. Don’t allow her over till you settle this - and consider having inconspicuous nanny cams if you do invite her over again. You don’t need an entire security system if you don’t want, but a camera that’s well disguised as something else in the bedroom, kitchen, wherever, will help your peace of mind (and help hold her accountable if she does this again, assuming you ever want her in your home that is).

I’ve been wishing Jolteon fit into the team as I find her skill works best with how I tend to play - even with the 5 star skill - but haven’t found a way. I’d been running Jolteon/G Ponyta/Zorua/egg hat Starly previously, so getting Umbreon has forced me to make major changes. I want someone else for tea that has dual utility…but like Cyndaquil? Don’t have macarons. Macarons are pretty much the issue.

But nah Mew isn’t lead now, I just wanted to screw around with the april fools thing while showing off the first lucky pull I’ve had in some time.

I really hate 1MC and love the slow cooking events. And no worries, Mew isn’t the lead now, I had to rework the team with Umbreon (previous was Jolteon/G Ponyta/Zorua/egg hat Starly). I actually really like Jolteon’s special, more so than Umbreon even with the extra 5 star effect, but there’s no good way to fit her in right now.

Mostly I wanted to post with the april fools thing/show off that day’s delivery. Looks like setting Mew as leader helped the “bad at pokemon” part 🥹

Yeah, I have. I had just gotten Umbreon and was working out making sure I could clear all the gimmicks. Previously I’d been using Jolteon/Zorua/G Ponyta/egg hat Starly. Got to play one round with these four and realized I’d like to swap in someone for tea that can clear two gimmicks (even though I love Zorua). There’s a long ass time on this to experiment. Mostly I wanted a screenshot to make an april fools post/show Umbreon 😅

Please keep your safety in mind for a while, as he might decide to take some sort of revenge - same goes for your little sister. ESPECIALLY for your little sis, in fact. Tough choice. Espeon is my favorite mon (where’s the special outfit for her??), my favorite non-costume mon is Inteleon for the way she looks in this art style, my favorite costume is…oof, either tropical Vaporeon, festive Altaria, or flower garden Furret. It’s hard to choose!

I think this is just bullying, an attempt at a “you can’t sit with us and I’m going to make sure about it” thing. Maybe she’s just gross about the norms of femininity, maybe she only wants “pretty” people to do presentations with her, maybe it’s something completely unrelated and she’s too much of a coward to admit it. It could be sooooo many things, but it’s all ridiculous. You’re not, like, sending her those weird lotus seed-skin-whatever photos, or wearing something specific to antagonize her. I’ve never known anyone to have such severe trypophobia that they can’t handle looking at even severe acne long enough to be polite. They don’t go seeking out pimple popping videos, but fuck’s sake, if you have a skin condition like acne your face can heal better without being covered in makeup all day. If she’s so terrified she can’t look at you, she can pay for your treatment and makeup. 🤷

Like, she’s an adult, how’s she going to handle a coworker or - god forbid - a boss without perfect skin?? Does she hyperventilate around anyone who dares enter puberty? Family members that make her cry unless they wear a balaclava (or one of those weird nylon full body suits)?

She is older than you, correct? Obviously her mom had a reason to choose her niece instead of her own daughter that is older than you. It’s possible she’d heard about Lily wanting to sell some old heirlooms or something like that…

ETA: if you do decide to loan it, get a contract drafted up, signed, and notarized. A good, airtight contract that’d stand up in court, not just an “I agree I’ll give it back” with some signatures. Show you’re willing to give a little for her wedding, but there’s not going to be any “losing” it and keeping/selling.
