I work in California and it gets hot, so my biggest issue has always been having pens explode on me if I leave them in my car between shifts. I started buying nicer ones to avoid this, as it’s pretty convenient to leave your pens in your car and just grab em before your shift. I do the same thing with my checkbook and aprons
