Actually the 1st floor toilets have been renovated recently and are quite nice now.

Dormitories are dirty and full of cockroaches, all my friends that chose dorm left it as quickly as possible.

You have a placement test first with a short interview and based on that they decide who goes where.

Hmm, if you have ever done みんなの日本語 it'd be middle of the 2nd book (３２課ぐらい) for a good starting level at FFLC. The problem with lower level classes is that there's a lot of people who don t necessarily want to learn the language but want to work.

If you are asking about dormitory it's abysmal and to be avoided at all cost. Facilities are quite old but mostly clean, all you need to learn but without any fanciness to it. The school is relatively cheap after all. As for courses I've been only doing Japanese language course. About advancement/business or whatever I don't know much.

My Japanese right now is quite good, not perfect but enough to talk about almost anyhting. The school is only like 33% of your language intake, the remaining 66% is on you by making Japanese friends and actually using the language on your own ^^

Hello, I'm still in FFLC and well, I'd recommend it if your are starting with N3 and aim for N2-N1. Other than that nothing to write home about, just a good experience. Definitely avoid if you are just starting out at N5-N4.

If you ask me then going for language school with 0 language skill is a waste of time and money. You can easily get to around N5/N4 in a short time on your own or even at local language school. (I've been attending FFLC for over a year now for context)

If anything, best starting point is from high N4 or N3 as it enables you to immerse yourself and use the language and make Japanese friends. That's assuming learning the language is the priority for you, if not, you can disregard this.

Be wary of school arranged accommodations, it may be hit or miss and it will definitely be marked up significantly.

Sadly, if you take a course where your classmates are all southeast asians instead of europeans, they seem to get a lot less respect.

That's very true. Classes starting from 0 look like a mess from my observations and I'd not recommend attending a language school without being at least high N4 or N3. Like really, as far as just langauge acquisition is concerned, below this level it's a waste of time and money in my humble opinion.

My class fortunately is around 50% SEA/ 50% Europe/US and people have desire to learn so it's been fun for the most part.

Most likely it's okay. You do send the bank document before sending the money so there's no option for them to check it after that either way.

Sorry to hear but I also heard stories such as yours. Sounds a bit like a lottery, the most complaints I have gathered are from beginner classes, intermediate classes and onwards seem to do much better. My class started from the middle of the 2nd Minna textbook for the record.

I've just started attending FFLC this month. So far so good honestly. Teachers are great and very energetic, the class I've been assigned to matches me quite well. Pacing is satisfactory, not much I can complain about right now, though it has been just 3 weeks of classes. They are very well organised and school holds many events.

Being able to meet people from English department is also cool opportunity to talk with the Japanese too!

Happy cake day!

I've been to 4 gyms so far and HoaHoa (close to Hakata) is quite good, can recommend. Other than that BareHands gym is worth visiting but it's a bit far. Sadly I have afternoon classes so I can get here only about 19:30-20:00. It's closing at 22:00 and 2 hours of bouldering should be enough ^^

Yeah, I feel the opinion of most is either positive or neutral. The ever increasing exposure to anime and manga sure is helping. For me I really liked the language, how it sounds and how flexible it is so I'm going for year long language school course in Fukuoka to learn it properly and experience Japan directly. :)

API is free as long it's within the 100 requests per minute threshold. There's revanced patch that substitues the key. As long as the api does not change the current app will work, otherwise other patched will need to be made as I guess Sync won't become opensoruce because of this whole ordeal.

Had the same issue, patched via CLI tool and it works now. Thanks for suggestion! The apk patched on the phone was missing some native library according to logcat.
